To free yourself and spiritual stuffs?
If you no longer want to keep them in the house because you have lost your sense of possession with them, they makes you fear, or people in your family cannot find comfort in their presence, there is a way to free them so he could reborn in the next life.
**But make sure you discipline yourself not to rent anymore.
You have to talk to them nicely as you always do, and ask them to leave politely in this way: “Given Name XXX, now your time has come. Please leave me and reborn in the next life.
I wish you would reborn in a better world where you won't face suffering like I do in this world.
I love you so I tell you all this".
After that you bury them in the ground, pour some flowers as a mark, and say: "Your solid body would turn to dust, sooner or later. Your owner have buried your body to send you to the better world. But, before you leave, please receive the Five Precepts from me,
Chant:
Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammasambuddhassa Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammasambuddhassa Namo Tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammasambuddhassa

May you please receive these Five Precepts from me, and i will make a merit for you.
" In the next morning you should go to make a merit for them as for them to reborn as an better realms in the next life.
** There are many kinds of making merit such as offering food to a monk , donating money to temples , charity , doing meditation , freeing animals , joining Buddhist activities e.g. Sangkathan , PhaPa , Kathin , etc.)
The more merits that you dedicate to them, the better chances they might able to reborn in the higher realm and as for you been an owner had accomplished with the merits you helped him to accumulate during his stay with you enabling him to be reborn into the higher realm.
This is short Katha to make merit to spiritual. After you have made merit , think of the spiritual you would like to make merit to and then speak out or speak in mind, chant:
"it thang mei ya ti nang ho tu su khi ta ho tu ya ta yo"
"May the merit I have done goes to ....(name of spiritual)"
"May he/she/it/they get the merit and be happy".
After you have made merit , first , you have to have a clean cup and clean bottle water. Second , chant :
"i thang mei ya ti nang ho tu su khi ta ho tu ya ta yo" "May the merit I have done goes to .....(name of spirit or someone who passed away. May he/she/it/they get the merit and be happy".
this while pouring water to a container or directly to the tree until all water is gone **
