Chanting


1. First , bow 3 times towards the Buddha image.

2. Chant verses of BUCHA PHRA to worship Buddha:

e - mi - na - sak - ga - ray - na/

phut - thang - a - phi - pu - cha - ya - mi/

e - mi - na - sak - ga - ray - na/

tham - mang - a - phi - pu - cha - ya - mi/ e - mi - na - sak - ga - ray - na/

sang - kang - a - phi - pu - cha - ya - mi.x 1.

3. Chant verses of NAMAS SAKAN PHRA RATTANATRAI to worship Buddha (Phra Phut) , Dharma (Phra Tham) and Monks (Phra Song):

a - ra - hang - sam - ma / sam - phut - tho - pha - ka - wa / phut - thang - pha - ka - wan - tang / a - phi - wa - thei - mi (bow)

sa - wa - kha - to / pha - ka - wa - ta - tham - mo / tham - mang - na - ma - sa - mi (bow)

su - pa - ti - pan - no / sa - wa - ga - sang - ko / sang - kang - na - ma - mi (bow).
 
4. Chant verses of KHOR KAMA PHRA RATTANATRAI to say apology to Buddha (Phra Phut) , Dharma (Phra Tham) and Monks (Phra Song) in what you may do wrong to them whether you know or not:

na - mo - tat - sa/ pha - ka - wa - to/ a - ra - ha - to/ sam - ma - sam - phut - thas sa x 3

followed by

sap - phang - a - pa - ra - thang/

kha - ma - tha - may - phan - tay/

ou - ga - sa - tha - wa - rat - ta - yay - na - ga tang/

sap - phang - a - pa - ra - thang/

kha - ma - tha - may - phan - tay/

ou - ga - sa - kha - ma - mi - phan tay x 1.

5. Chant verses of ARATHANA SIL to ask for the precepts:

a - yang - phan - tay/

wi - soong - wi - soong - rak - kha - na - tha - ya/

ti - sa - ra - nay - na - sa - ha/ pan - ja - see - la - ni - ya - ja - mi/

thu - ti - yam - pi - ma - yang - phan - tay/

wi - soong - wi - soong - rak - kha - na - tha - ya/

ti - sa - ra - nay - na - sa - ha/

pan - ja - see - la - ni - ya - ja - mi/

ta - ti - yam - pi - ma - yang - phan - tay/

wi - soong - wi - soong - rak - kha - na - tha - ya/

ti - sa - ra - nay - na - sa - ha/ pan - ja - see - la - ni - ya - ja - mi x 1.

6. Chant verses of SAMATHAN SIL to accept the precepts:

na - mo - tat - sa/ pha - ka - wa - to/ a - ra - ha - to/ sam - ma - sam - phut - thas - sa x 3

followed by

phut - thang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

tham - mang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

sang - kang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

thu - ti - yam - pi - phut - thang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

thu - ti - yam - pi - tham - mang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

thu - ti - yam - pi - sang - kang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

ta - ti - yam - pi - phut - thang - sa - ra - nang - kat - cha - mi/

followed by

a - tin - na - tha - na - way - ra - ma - nee - sik - kha - pa - thang - sa - ma - thi - ya - mi (to omit stealing)/

ga - may - su - mit - cha - ja - ra - way - ra - ma - nee - sik - kha - pa - thang - sa - ma - thi - ya - mi (to omit adultery)/

mu - sa - wa - tha - way - ra - ma - nee - sik - kha - pa - thang - sa - ma - thi - ya - mi (to omit lying or bad speaking)/

su - ra - may - ra - ya - mat - cha - pa - ma - that - tha - na - way - ra - ma - nee - sik - kha - pa - thang - sa - ma - thi - ya - mi (to omit alcohol and drugs)"
7. Finally , bow 3 times towards the Buddha image.
